What Is a Doula?
A doula is a dedicated and knowledgeable support person who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational care to individuals and families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. While doulas do not perform clinical procedures or offer medical advice, they play a vital role in ensuring that parents feel informed, confident, and supported every step of the way.

Can I Add My Profile to The Website?
Yes, you can. To add your profile to this website you’ll need to click on add listing and then enter your profile details when asked.
Please adhere to the following conditions:
1. You must use your own suburb for the location, not the capital city of your state. The reason for this is that the search function provides those looking for a doula within a certain radius of their location.
2. You also have to use your full name, not your business name for the heading listing. There is a section for you to include your business name in the listing, but you must list your own name for the directory.
3. You must include a professional profile photo with your listing, so it displays who you are – not a logo, and do not leave it blank.
Incomplete directory listings will be temporarily removed until they are updated to meet the required standards. This ensures that all listings maintain a professional and consistent appearance.

Doula Training Academy Doulas $20 per year with automatic renewal.
Other Doulas $50 per year with automatic renewal.

How do I edit my listing?
If you have claimed your listing, you can click on the “Log In” button in the navigation at the top of the page. If you haven’t set a password, you can click on “Lost your password?” on the login page and follow the prompts to reset/create your password.
Once you have logged in you can navigate to the “Directory Dashboard”.
If you are able to edit any listings it will appear on this screen.
Here’s an example of what you might see:
Click on the listing and you will be taken to a page where you can edit the listing information.
Make sure once you are done editing to click on the “Save Changes” button at the very bottom.
