Hello! My name’s Cass, I’m a doula based on the far south coast, NSW, aka the Sapphire Coast ~ the inspiration behind my business name.
I’m also a mum to 3 wonderful “free range” boys.
I see every pregnancy and birth as a unique miracle.
As a young child, I had an innate fascination with pregnancy and birth and having 3 younger siblings (and 1 older), I was exposed to the beauty of growing humans at a young age.
During my third pregnancy, I did a lot of self-guided research on birth physiology.
This is when the ‘doula seed’ was planted.
Soon after, I was blessed to be able to attend my best friend’s home birth, where I fell in love with the magic of uninterrupted, physiological birth even more.
Since then I have evolved into the world of birth work, where my goal is to help you and your family navigate the maternal health system, support your choices no matter what they are, educate you on labour and birth with evidence-based information, and help guide you to advocate for yourself, ultimately leaving you feeling emotionally well and physically safe as you transition into motherhood, allowing you to reflect on your birth experience with joy and love (kind of like a shot of oxytocin).
